Admission Policies

 

During admission of a Child with Disability we need the following documents:

 

• Social Workers Report
• School Report
• Psychological Report
• Physiotherapist Report
• Occupational Therapist Report
• Doctor’s Medical Report
• Birth Certificate  or Identity Document
• Photograph of a child.

 

As we are dealing with cross disability we extended duration from four years to six years due their disability.

 

Fee Structure                         : Children pay R200.00 a month

 

Implementation                      : Strategic Objective! Enable Children to move away from

                                                 dependency.

 

Outcomes                               :  Children acquire Life Skills, Self Reliance, they are

                                                   trained on Projects.

 

Indicators                               :  Improvement of condition of Children with Disabilities.

                                                   Increase number of Children discharged from the Home.

 

Time Frame                            :  It depends on the disability of a child but the duration is   

                                                   six years.

 

 

Human Resources                 :  Volunteers to be trained to acquire more skills.

 

Consumer Participation         :  Communities are active participants in programmed

                                                   activities e.g. Board Members are community members.

 

 

-         They approved the site where we are running the Home.

-         Communities also buy products from our Projects.

-         They also secure the Home.
