-         Pre-audit by Department of Social Development Provincially who were advising the Home about how to do our filling e.g. Inventory List (Assets) that we must have serial numbers, bar codes, invoice numbers for all our assets. We are glad about these advices because we can see where we lack and where we progress. 

 

-         Visit by Auditor General from the Department of Social Development National to evaluate if the Home is existing and how we keep our financial records

-         We managed to access funding from Eskom Foundation and MTN Foundation to do paving for accessibility but it has just taken a small portion of the Home.

-         Access funding from National Lottery Distribution Trust Fund for staff salaries, Transport, Grocery for children and domestic fuel.

-         Access funding from Nedbank Foundation for educational toys

 

-         Renovations of Dormitories, School, Dining Hall, Kitchen, Installation of Ablution System in the classrooms and Computer Lab

-         Access funding from Momentum Fund and United Nations Women’s Guild of Vienna for Beds, Matrasses and Stipend for staff

 

-         Youth with Disabilities trained on Craft and Visual Arts by professional Artists from Cape Town.

-         Youth with Disabilities acquire Sewing and Beading Skills.

-         Department of Rural Development has install Computer Laboratory for Skills Development.

-         Employment of Youth with Disabilities by Department of Public Works.
